About Zachary

With a style somewhere between George Winston, Jim Brickman, and David Lanz, Zachary captures the beauty of life in nature with music that touches the soul. Zachary Bruno is an 18 year old Canadian solo pianist and composer who resides in the sunny desert of Arizona with his family.

Zachary Bruno is a 21 year old solo pianist and composer born in Ottawa, Canada and currently residing in the sunny desert of Arizona.

Zachary Bruno grew up in a suburban neighborhood in the heart of Texas. Most of his songs are inspired by his imagination of a more rural life—the vast expanse of wilderness and natural landscape that lay untamed and limitless in his mind.

In August 2013, Zachary released his debut album, Before the Rain, which reached #37 on the New Age charts. Kathy Parsons, of calls the collection of original solo piano pieces “amazing music and an extraordinary beginning to a very promising career in music.”

After being introduced to piano lessons at age 6, music composition almost instantly caught Zachary’s interest. And it wasn’t long before he was attempting to scribble down melodies and riffs onto homemade staff-paper.

While composition came naturally to Zach, it took the constant encouragement of family and friends to finally persuade him that to record his first album of his original compositions. After over 4 years of refining his compositions, Zachary released his debut album of 12 original piano solos out into the interwebs.

It did not take long before he saw an interest for his music, and a year later, he released his second album, Dawn Light, which went on to win the 2015 Whisperings Album of the Year.

Zachary is currently working on his third solo piano album tentatively planned for release early 2018.
